Being an alumunai of the school I am a big admirer of DPS. It is one of the best cbse school in Pune. The school has a big campus with ample of open space and playground which is needed for children. They are very stringent in terms of rules which in turn is good for the kids. The admission process usually starts in the month of November every year and the age range for nursery admission is 3 and half years to 4 and half years for the eligible child. They has fairly open point system scale for admission which accounts factors like parents education, proximity to school, girl child, sibling studying in the same school, second girl child, professional education of both parents etc. In terms of school fees, they are charging average in compare to international schools in the area although they have matching standards of education. I would surely recommend this school to everyone if you are serious about your child's education.

DPS is located just along side of Nyati county where we stay and almost 70 percent of kids in our society are studying in this school. It has big brand name PAN India and certainly its the best CBSE school in pune. The school has 1:35 teacher to student ratio which is quite healthy and at par with other good schools. Teachers are well qualified and trained making it a choice of every parent in Pune. Management of the schools is very adaptive to new technologies and has blend of modern outlook and traditional education system. The school and children have long way to go, best of luck!

DPS pune is the worst school in undri locality. It just survives based on the DPS brand name. Biggest money monger in the city.I was initially interested in this school as it is Co-ed and has CBSE syllabus, but after talking to some people of DPS, i have decided to strike off DPS from my list. The staff and management are extremely rude and arrogant. You can never approach anyone from the school for any reason.Even the "contact us" number that is provided in the school website will be picked up by extremely rude ladies who will bang your call while you are talking! I do not want to invest 14 years of my sons life in a school where the management and staff themselves are rude/arrogant and unapproachable. There is no transparency in this school. This is a school that does not value a parents time, and gives a bull shit treatment to parents. Even if you have a genuine reason like taking a TC from school, and even after getting prior appointments, the school will not entertain you! Such a level of disrespect, I have not seen in any other school. This is my personal experience. For all the parents who are really interested in this school, well, i can only say that " Get ready to be treated as dirt, while they take away loads of money from you!."

Admission criteria for academic year 2016-17 has been changed by the school. The previous point system for distance, second girl child and alumni has been removed. A new introduction session with 50 point WEIGHTAGE has been added. The age criteria for nursery is that the child should be born in between 1st October, 2011 and 30th September, 2012. The availability of forms for this academic year is till 13th November 2015 for the session starting on 4th April 2016
